Position Information 

Rouse Hill High School has an enrolment of 1027 students and approximately 65 teaching staff. The HSC is delivered through a compacted curriculum model. The school has one class for students with autism. The school's three strategic areas include student personal best supported by wellbeing initiatives and growth mindset, innovation through collaboration for confidence and creativity, and proactive and personal leadership of our community. The school is part of a learning community with partner primary schools. The Parents and Citizens' Association actively supports the school.

  
Specific Selection Criteria 

 

  1. Approval to teach Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE), Community and Family Studies (CFS) and Sport, Leisure and Recreation (SLR). 
  2. Evidence of effective classroom practice that creates a culture of high expectations for students with a wide range of learning needs through differentiated curriculum, classroom expectations and the integration of technology.
  3. Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively within the faculty to produce high quality learning opportunities that engage students. 
  4. Ability to use data and manage learning to promote student growth. 
  
Conditions 

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
