Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the following position: 

TEACHER’S AIDE Temporary Part Time (30 hours per week) 

St John Paul College Coffs Harbour is currently looking for a Teacher’s Aide to join our specialised staff in 2019. 

To be considered for this role, the applicant should address the following criteria: 

  • Provide assistance in the implementation of learning and teaching strategies for an individual student, groups of students or class, including students with special needs and recognised disabilities; 
  • Experience in working collaboratively with teaching staff to implement, develop and provide a creative learning environment; 
  • Assist students is all aspects of the curriculum, including the College structured Work Place Learning Program; 
  • Ability to successfully implement and document progress regarding individual and/or small group support;
  • Certificate III in Education Support, preferred; 
  • Hold a First Aid Certificate, including Anaphylaxis; 
  • Hold a NSW Working with Children Check;

About St John Paul College Coffs Harbour

St John Paul College is a mixed, non-selective, independent, Roman Catholic secondary school in New South Wales, serving students from the age of 11-18. The secondary school is situated in Coffs Harbour.

Formerly John Paul College, the school was renamed St John Paul College in 2014 following the canonization of Pope John Paul II. The school was founded in 1982 by the parishes in Coffs Harbour and Sawtell, and opened in 1983 with the assistance of the Sisters of Mercy.
