Teaching ServiceMenindee Central School is a Connected Communities school with an enrolment of 90 students from Kindergarten to Year 12, 70% of whom identify as Aboriginal. Students and teachers maintain a positive level of respect and responsibility across the school. Through the Schools in Partnerships program, the community also has a high level of involvement in the school, which contributes to its success. There is a strong focus on developing project based learning teaching practices in the secondary faculty, embedding technology into classroom practice and the development and maintenance of quality teaching across the school. Staff are encouraged to take a collaborative approach to the development of faculty and whole school programs as well as support the development of extra-curricular opportunities for our students.
