At the Prior Pursglove College site, we are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher who has a passion for teaching Media and Performing Arts. You will be able to motivate, enthuse and challenge students to produce the highest quality work, and effectively assess, record and track students.
Our enrichment offer for all students involves an annual stage production and opportunities to perform in college concerts and showcase events overseen by the Performing Arts team.
Successful candidates must have a degree (or equivalent) in a related subject, along with class teaching experience gained either in a school or college setting. You must have demonstrable high levels of skill in leading teaching and learning.
Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, together with a commitment to working with students from a range of different backgrounds, are also essential.
The ability to teach A Level Photography could also be an advantage
Applications will be welcomed from both NQTs and experienced teachers.
A full time contract equates to 24 hours of contact time per week. These roles could be offered on a full time or part time basis dependent on the subjects offered. Please note that a full time contract would only be available if you can teach both subjects. Please indicate on your application form which subject(s) you are applying for.
Your main place of work will be Prior Pursglove College but work at other sites across the Trust may be required.
