Teaching & Learning Assistant

32.5 hours, 39 weeks per annum 

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and committed Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our supportive, enthusiastic and collaborative team, to start ASAP. This post would be suitable for a graduate, looking to get into teaching, who would be well-supported by the school’s induction and development programme.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to raising standards are essential.

The successful candidate would be joining the school at an exciting time. Hampton High has recently been judged “good” by Ofsted and is an oversubscribed school for September 2019, with numbers increasing throughout the school on a weekly basis. We are committed to the progress of all learners and have a comprehensive programme of professional development for all staff. Hampton High is a mixed, 11-18 comprehensive school. In 2017 Hampton High joined the Richmond West Schools Trust. The trust operates collaboratively with a group of local schools which are working in partnership to improve outcomes for learners locally. This has brought investment of time and resources to further support the improvement of the school.
