Teaching Assistant 1:1 SEND support (TA2)

Woodthorpe Primary School is seeking to recruit a positive and caring Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan.

The ideal candidate will ideally have some previous experience of working with children with SEND. The successful candidate will have the skills to work alongside the class teacher and SENDCo to ensure that the child is accessing the curriculum and making positive progress with their emotional development and their academic learning.

The position is a fixed-term contract, which will end when the pupil leaves the school. The  role is for 32.5 hours per week (8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday) and is term-time only
