A Level 3 Teaching Assistant is required for a long-term position, at a popular primary school in Northfield, Birmingham for September 2019.

The school itself is a highly popular 2 form entry which has an excellent reputation due to the high-quality teaching provided and the strong connections within the local community. The school benefits from a dedicated team of teachers and staff who work hard to maintain a safe and supportive environment for all pupils.

The successful candidate must:

• Hold an NVQ level 3 qualification (equivalent or above in a relevant subject)

• Be a proactive and creative individual

• Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of the National Curriculum

• Be adaptable to work with small groups and on a 1-1 basis where required

• Have a calm and approachable manner

• Have previous experience of working across upper and lower KS2 year groups

• Be able to encourage positive behaviour for learning

This is a long-term position which will continue from September 2019 until February 2020, the position however may be extended further in the New Year.
