This is a permanent, full-time role up to 32.5 hours per week with additional midday supervision contract

Salary: Grade 4-5, Points 3-7 (Level 1/2 TA)

Grade 3, Points 2-3 (Midday Supervisor)

£2545 - £2588 (Actual Salary per year)

 

Would you like a job that will make you smile and where every day is different? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Teaching Assistant team at Histon & Impington Park Primary School!  You will be part of a very friendly team working in our wonderful classrooms supporting the children’s learning either on a whole class, small group or one-to-one basis. This will be a varied, fun and fulfilling role where you will be making a difference to the children’s learning and you will see their progress every day. An element of your duties will also include preparation of fantastic teaching resources/class displays and will also include midday supervision during the children’s lunchbreak.

 The ideal candidate:

  • Will have achieved GCSE English & Maths Grade C (4/5) or above or equivalent
  • Has some experience of supporting children in Key Stages One/Two.
  • Will possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team
  • Demonstrates an understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues

We are a member of Meridian Trust, a local multi academy trust incorporating primary, secondary, special and sixth forms schools. The primary schools work collaboratively - we share training, professional development and staff expertise to develop the best possible outcomes for children. In particular, we work very closely with Histon and Impington Brook Primary School to ensure a consistent approach for all children and families in our community.
