It has a long and proud tradition of educating and inspiring the children of west Carlisle. The Trustees are seeking to employ two teaching assistants who are creative, imaginative, highly motivated and committed to improving the life chances of children.

The successful candidate will be joining Caldew Lea at an exciting time, as we continue to build on our recent successes and move forward on our journey to establish ourselves as one of the highest performing schools in our local area. This is an exciting opportunity to join the School at a pivotal time and be part of our vision of providing an exciting and innovative education for the pupils at Caldew Lea Primary School.
We are looking for two enthusiastic and energetic teaching assistants to join us from 1st September, or as soon as possible if available to start this term. Ideally, you will be an experienced TA willing to work across all year groups who may be deployed to work across any year group in school, at the Headteacher’s discretion.
The successful candidate will:
• Be a good communicator committed to being part of an effective support team within the whole school community
• Set high expectations and have a commitment to supporting learners to achieve well
• Be self-motivated, adaptable and reliable
• Have experience of working with young children with SEND/SEMH needs We can offer:
