Teaching Assistant, Curriculum Support 17.5 hours per week

Fixed Term Contract, 30 October 2017 - 31 August 2018

Moordown St John's CE Primary School, Bournemouth is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant, initially on a fixed term basis, for 17.50 hours per week (08.45 - 12.15).  Whilst our TAs support teaching and learning across the primary age range, the successful applicant will be based initially in Year 1.    

We are looking for a self-motivated and committed person to work alongside talented staff and contribute to the ethos of this friendly and popular school.      

The successful applicant will have a proven track record of working with children and:

• be able to support and promote an excellent desire for learning in all our children
• be able to support and promote an excellent spiritual and reflective learning ethos
• be creative and flexible in the way he/she works
• have a sense of humour
• be committed to his/her own professional development and participate fully in the life of the school and community.
