​​​​​​​We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and committed Teaching Assistant. In a mainly classroom based role, you will work with colleagues to support both individual and groups of children in their core learning including reading, writing, and mathematics. ​​​​​​​You will also provide support in the playground encouraging the children's development of positive social friendships and play skills. Silverdale Primary Academy

The Silverdale Primary Academy is at the very heart of the community of St Leonards on Sea. We love our town. And the feeling’s mutual.

It has a published admissions number of 90 and total capacity of 630 pupils.

Silverdale is a large primary school with over 660 pupils and over 90 staff. The building dates back to 1954 but there have been a number of extensions and improvements made to all parts of the building. This includes a children's centre, an ICT Suite and a heated swimming pool which is used year round by our pupils.
