Reception Teaching Assistant

Full time, required to start at the beginning of the summer term in April 

Fixed term contract to July (with the possibility of opportunities beyond) 

Shrewsbury House Pre-Prep School in Esher, Surrey is an independent day school for boys and girls aged from three to seven years. It was founded in 1912 and is part of the Shrewsbury House School Trust and is administered by a Board of Governors.  

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with, and support the existing Reception team.  EYFS experience and relevant qualifications are ideal, alongside awareness of Early Learning Goals and Development Matters. 

The individual will work in partnership with the Reception team, helping support the children in their day to day activities and development, sharing our determination for every child to reach their full potential.  

The role will involve general support of the children, working with individuals or small groups, preparation of resources, and assisting with specialist subject lessons, such as Forest School, Music, P.E. and French lessons.
