This post is for term time only, plus 3 Inset Days and for 36 hours per week, to support students before, during and after school.
Applications are invited for the above Teaching Assistant posts to support pupils who have been identified as having Special Educational Needs. Candidates can apply for either point scale depending on experience.
The level 1 post does not necessarily require previous TA experience. It would be particularly suitable for graduates who may be contemplating a career in education.
If you are applying for the level 2 post, previous experience is a pre-requisite. Please state either your current area of expertise or area of responsibility.
Please complete a support staff application form (downloadable from the website) and include a hand written letter of application outlining how your qualifications and experience make you suitable for the post. Your application should then be sent to the Headteacher, Niamh Arnull, at email@example.com by noon on Friday 15th February. Interviews will be on-going, beginning the week after the half term break. However, we reserve the right to interview suitably qualified and talented candidates in advance of the deadline.
This organisation is committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and as such all candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check
