Teaching assistant (TA) post  

35 hours per week, term time only                                                                                    

Salary: £17748 per year, £1479 per month, spine point 14 (figures subject to ratification of pay award) 

Hours of work: 7.45am – 3.30pm  

Christ Church School is a successful, oversubscribed Church of England primary school in Hampstead. Our children are well-behaved and enthusiastic, our parents are supportive and involved and our committed staff team works hard to give their best for all the children in the school. We are looking for two Teaching Assistants to join our friendly team.    

The TAs will work supporting individuals, groups and teachers across the school. Your work will be planned in close partnership with the class teachers and Inclusion Leader. There will also be some play time and lunchtime supervision duties – supervising and supporting the children in the playground and hall.  

If you have experience of and passion for working with primary age children, a commitment to inclusion, good numeracy and literacy skills and are keen to become a member of a busy and successful school community, we would love to hear from you.   

Our previous successful Teaching Assistants have come from a range of backgrounds, including many graduates and those people looking for experience before moving into a career in teaching. We would be happy to support the right candidate through the ‘Preparation for teaching course’ run by Teaching London (please ask if you would like more details).
