About the role:  Strood Academy are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant who will assist in the support and inclusion of SEN and EAL pupils within the School.  Working within a class, our successful candidates will join a well-established team of Teaching Assistants who provide appropriate one-to-one support for an individual pupil, or a small group of pupils within class of any ability and in any curriculum area.  Whilst we would require our successful candidate to work across the curriculum but a flair or particular interest in languages would be beneficial.  This role will predominantly be working with our Year 11 students and may require off-site training.  

The working basis of this role is 29 hours and 10 minutes per week during Term Time and an additional week of inset (8.45am - 3.05pm Monday to Friday).  The actual salary per annum, dependent on experience, is between £10,656 - £13,310.  Please consult the Job Description by clicking here for a detailed overview of the duties and responsibilities of this role.
