Teaching Assistant Level 3 (30 hours per week)

One permanent, term time only, 30 hours per week, Level 3 Teaching Assistant required for September 2018.

The local governing body of Poplar Street Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated level 3 teaching assistant.

We are looking for a creative teaching assistant who will share our passion for learning and will work as part of a team towards achieving the highest possible standards for all our pupils.

The purpose of the post is to work under the guidance of teaching / senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement agreed work programmes with individuals / groups, in or out of the classroom.   

Also to supervise, within a school cover supervision policy, whole classes occasionally during the short term absence of teachers, to maintain good order and to keep pupils on task.

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  This post is subject to references, enhanced DBS disclosure and declarations about the convictions for those whom you live with.
