 An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our ambitious and vibrant school! We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, hardworking and reliable individual to this post, working alongside teachers and other staff providing behaviour, support and guidance for students accessing our internal seclusion facility.

The successful candidate will:

 • Be based in the Seclusion Room, an on-site facility for students who are unable to access the curriculum due to their problem behaviour or lack of compliance.

 • Work as part of a dynamic, well-established team dedicated to providing pupils with uninterrupted learning opportunities and supporting pupils to make excellent progress.

 • Ensure all pupils including those with additional needs are able to access the curriculum. 

 • Seek to identify barriers to learning and implement strategies to remove them.

 • Be committed to raising the aspirations and achievements of all our children and families and be committed to their own professional development. 

Duties include:

 • Delivering one-to-one and small group tuition.

 • Supporting with Literacy and Numeracy interventions 

• Providing pastoral support to the students 

• Delivering mentoring and developing a positive working atmosphere. • Assisting teachers as directed 

• Providing administrative support to teaching staff 

• Covering for absent teachers when required. 

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
