Job overview

 The Directors and Governors of St Bede’s Catholic Academy, a member of the Carmel Education Trust, wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our school.

We are looking to appoint a skilled, committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our pupils and Teachers.

We need someone who is:

  • Passionate about pupil learning, progress and wellbeing
  • Committed to achieving high standards of learning and behaviour for all our children
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Is committed to supporting the catholic ethos of the school

The appointed person should be creative, forward thinking and be able to work as part of a team as well as use their own initiative to ensure a quality education for all pupils.

Visits to the school are positively encouraged and a warm welcome will be received.

Ofsted report 

The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection. The school is now part of the Carmel Education Trust and benefits from working collaboratively with other schools in this trust… Strategies to improve writing and mathematics have ensured that pupils are now attaining above other pupils nationally, in both key stage 1 and key stage 2. Pupils’ work shows that they are making good progress in all year groups.”
