Teaching Assistant

We are looking for an energetic and passionate teaching assistant who loves working with children. At St Mark’s we always strive to provide exciting and creative opportunities for our children to learn and we would very much look to utilise any skills and interests that you can bring to the school and use them to enrich the curriculum.

1 year fixed term contract. 

35 hours per week  (8.30 - 3.30pm) , term time (39 weeks per year).

For the right candidate, this teaching assistant role could be a springboard to the Schools Direct route into teaching within the Lambeth Teaching Schools Alliance. As part of the role there will be opportunities to contribute to planning, lead sessions alongside the class teacher, support small groups within and outside the classroom and work with individual pupils. Therefore having the personal confidence and capacity to engage in the activities mentioned above, across both key stages is crucial.  This role may also include a small amount of cover in the school office.
