We are looking to appoint a Temporary Teaching Assistant, one position is covering maternity leave) to join our experienced classroom teams at our Nursery school as soon as possible. You will be responsible to the Class and head teacher in working with children to supervise physical and general care of children, including those with SEN both in and outside the classroom.
You will need to support access to learning for children and provide general support to the class teacher in the management of children and supervision of children during lunch times. You will have:
• Good communication skills
• Experience of working or caring for children aged 2-5 years
• Knowledge and understanding of child protection issues and safe guarding
• Be able to demonstrate the importance of lunch times and help develop our lunch time service.
