We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with EYFS and Key Stage 1 experience:

  • Under the instruction/guidance of teaching or other senior staff and within the overall ethos of the school, undertake care and learning programmes and activities to support individuals or groups of pupils.

 

  • To provide specialised support for those with SEND where appropriate, enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

 

  • Liaise with teachers, other support, health and education specialists, parents, visitors and volunteers.

Our two schools have been serving the Gorleston community for many years. In December 2016, we became Wroughton Infant and Junior Academies – part of Creative Education Trust, which provides us with many opportunities to work collaboratively with colleagues from other schools. Our two school buildings are connected, and we function as an all-through primary school.

Our hard-working staff team educate children between the ages of 3 and 11 years. We are lucky to have an exceptionally large site, with plenty of outdoor space for children to explore, learn and develop.

The school is well-resourced, and we provide an inclusive education for all the children in our care.
