Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Level 2 Childcare Studies or equivalent.

Vision for Education are working with a school in Portishead to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, to start as soon as possible. Working on a full-time basis, the school welcomes applications from both newly qualified and more experienced teaching assistants.
The role
The school are looking for a creative and hardworking Teaching Assistant, ideally with experience of working with both Key Stage 1 and 2 (KS1/2) children. Supporting the class teacher to maintain a fun and engaging learning environment, this a varied role that will include full class support, small group interventions and occasional 1-to-1 work as required.

Requirements
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:
• Have experience working in both Key Stage1 and 2 (KS1/2)
• Hold a minimum Level 2 childcare qualification
• Have excellent behaviour management skills
• Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required
