Job overview

Term Time Only

Are you committed to supporting students to achieve their full potential? If so, you may be the ideal candidate to join our dedicated SEND team  to provide support for students who require additional help to overcome barriers to learning, including students who have complex needs within our resource provision.

You will be able to demonstrate a high standard of awareness of students' diverse learning needs, backgrounds and abilities, and able to build positive relationships with your people and adults. Previous experience in a school or special school based environment would be an advantage.

This is an ideal opportunity to gain experience working with complex needs and ASD students and for aspiring SEND teachers.

We are a forward-thinking school that has dispensed with formal lesson observations, retrospective book marking and written student exam reports whilst maintaining very high standards of care and outcomes. Behaviour is good and the students are keen to progress and are used to working hard.

We prefer candidates who are organised, friendly, and who possess a positive work ethic. Having a few good ideas is always welcome.

If you join us you will be part of a structured, committed and hardworking team that will look after you and help you progress in your career.

Please visit our website http://www.cumberlandcst.org./vacancies for more information. Your application is a direct application to the CST.
