Job overview

Required for RECEPTION CLASS

Start date: September 2020

Hours of work: 08:30-16:00, term-time only

Salary: Dependant on experience and qualifications

St Mary’s is a 1FE Church of England Free School that opened in September 2014. We have moved into our new purpose built school that benefits from our own copse and an outlook over open fields to the back of the site. And yes, we are in the London Borough of Ealing! As a free school, we have the freedom to devise our own curriculum based on the National Curriculum, but pertinent to our school community and locality.

The school was graded good by Ofsted and SIAMS. Ofsted noted:

• Staff praise the “unique” culture of the school where teachers and leaders collaborate regularly

• Positive behaviour is reflected across the school

• The school’s curriculum promotes positive values

• One parent described the school as “a breath of fresh air with committed staff”

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a small, flexible team to help further our unique environment. You should note that there may be the possibility of flexibility in this job description in the light of the precise skills and experience of the successful candidate.

St Mary’s School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All appointments are dependent on satisfactory enhanced DBS clearance.

Please send your completed application form to the school administrator, details above.

The closing date for applications is 28th August 2020

Interviews will take place 3rd or 4th September 2020
