Job overview

We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to support access to learning for pupils with Special Educational Needs and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. You will join a hardworking, enthusiastic team of staff, in an inclusive school (Inclusion Quality Mark Centre of Excellence).

We have a number of vacancies. Some of them may involve 1:1 support for children with physical disabilities, including intimate care and some lifting.

Johanna Primary became part of the Oasis family in September 2011 as a good/outstanding school converter. We provide a stimulating and well-resourced environment where the children can learn and fully benefit from the many opportunities available in this cultural and educational hub of London.

Oasis Community Learning is a multi-academy sponsor, growing extensively across the UK. Believing that every person, in addition to every child matters, we are working with the wider Oasis Group, transforming schools into community hubs, through applying a holistic view of education.

For more information, please email nicola.church@oasisjohanna.org or contact us directly on 020 7928 5814. All applications and enquiries will be treated in the strictest confidence.

Oasis is committed to safeguarding children and the successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
