32 ½ hours each week, Level 2 Point 12 - 15    £12,047.98 - £12,770.58 p.a. (Term time only and training days)

We have  permanent positions for outstanding Teaching Assistants at Level 2 to support pupils with a wide range of Special Educations Needs and Disabilities across both our primary and secondary sites.

Successful candidates will have an interest in, or experience of working with children and young people with SEND.  The main role of all Teaching Assistants at The Chiltern School is to promote Learning and Teaching to ensure all pupils make progress and achieve well.

You must;

· be energetic, enthusiastic and committed to the school

· have high expectations of pupil’s learning 

· commit to promoting their independence.

The Chiltern School is an Area Special School in Central Bedfordshire. Our school offers all through education from 3-19 years. Our experienced staff provide stimulating learning opportunities addressing the needs of pupils with moderate, severe and profound learning difficulties. Many of our pupils have associated needs which include communication and social interaction, physical, sensory and medical.
