Job overview

Thank you for your interest in becoming part of the Fermain Academy, Macclesfield.

We are looking for motivated, empathic people who can join our team to expertly support and inspire children and young people to achieve their very best possible outcomes.  Our staff at The Fermain Academy understand and know how to adapt their approach to work with children and young people on a personalised basis. They understand the importance of nurture and trauma-informed approaches to support the development of social, emotional and mental health needs and how to incorporate this into daily school life.

This vacancy at The Fermain Academy is an outstanding and unique opportunity for the right people to become fully functional, multiskilled members of a highly inclusive and collaborative team that strives to change the lives of children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) through all that we do.

As a Teaching Assistant you will work collaboratively with the class teacher in order to support outstanding lessons and support students emotional health and wellbeing.
