We have a unique and exciting opportunity to recruit a Team Manager - Engineering & Motor Vehicle. The engineering industry in Derby is both world renown and nationally significant and the ambitions for this department are vast. Responsible for the FE elements of this curriculum that range from EL3 to L3, the successful candidate will need to be relentless in their pursuit of quality, with the vision to shape both the current and future workforce of Derby's engineering and motor industry sectors. We have high ambitions for what we want to achieve with both our students and employers in this vital role and, by continually developing a range of industry led, innovative specialisms, we can ensure Derby maintains its rightful position in these sectors.
We are happy to support candidates who are looking for their first opportunity in a management role and are wanting to progress from a current significant coordination/supervisory role.

About Derby College
Derby College is a large general further education college with four sites in or near the city of Derby. It supports around 26,000 learners, who choose from more than 1,000 full-time and part-time apprenticeship, A-level, BTEC and NVQ courses.
Derby College was established as a single institution in 2002 by merging three further education colleges: Mackworth Tertiary College, Wilmorton Tertiary College and Broomfield Agricultural College. A merger between South East Derbyshire College and Derby College was approved in 2010. Heavy investment has been made by the college in its teaching and learning facilities, from the fully equipped teaching kitchens at the Roundhouse campus to the high-tech science labs at the Joseph Wright Centre and the Equestrian Centre at the Broomfield Hall campus.
