The Governing Body of Lord Derby Academy are seeking to appoint a:             

Technical Support Engineer  

Permanent post Full-time 

Scale: C, SCP 10-13 Salary: £16,863 - £17,391  

The successful candidate should have experience in a helpdesk environment, supporting multiple users across geographically different sites, as part of an existing team of IT specialists. The ability to work independently and under pressure along with good interpersonal skills is essential.  Lord Derby Academy opened on 1st February 2014 and is part of the Dean Trust which has a number of outstanding and good schools and a proven track record of sustained improvement.

A position has become available as a Technical Support Engineer to join The Dean Trust’s schools network IT Support team. The successful applicant will be responsible for the smooth operation of the school’s networks, user support, incident & problem analysis and resolution, user training and proactive maintenance.
