About the Role 

An excellent and rewarding opportunity exists for an energetic Temporary Classroom Teacher to join our wonderful school. Key Responsibilities 

  • Create a learning environment that stimulates learning promotes excellence, and accepts and acknowledges the needs of students to be both challenged and supported
  • Maintain professional confidentiality on information about students
  • Be proficient in the use of digital technologies as administration and administrative tools
  • Mark and assess students’ work and keep complete and accurate records of each student’s progress
  • Contribute to the professional development of other staff members by sharing knowledge, ideas, and resources.
     

Essential Criteria 

  • An ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration and ACT Teaching Quality Institute (TQI) Accreditation
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills who can engage positively with colleagues, students and parents.
  • The capacity to be a proactive member of a professional learning community complying with legal, administrative and professional requirements.

Other Eligibility Criteria 

  • You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to be eligible to apply for this position.
