Are you an inspirational, dedicated teacher who is committed to raising expectations and attainment through consistently well planned and delivered lessons, tracking of individual pupil progress and structured feedback?
You will join our enthusiastic and collaborative English department, teaching across all Key Stages. Students follow GCSE English Language & English Literature courses at KS4, many of whom progress to A Level in Sixth Form.
Dragonfly Multi Academy Trust (MAT) incorporates Mendip Studio School, Writhlington School, a Sixth Form and Peasedown St John Primary School. With the exception of the Primary School, all are located on a large modern state of the art campus that benefits from exceptional media facilities, a 400-seat theatre and a Community Sports Centre. All students and teachers have their own iPad for use in school and at home to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
New staff ideas are encouraged and there are endless opportunities to lead and to contribute to its wide range of extra-curricular activities: a large Combined Cadet Force, international links with China, Tanzania & Rwanda that support the 14-19 curriculum and an internationally recognised orchid project.
If you would like to work in a collaborative, forward-thinking and supportive school, apply by 9.00 am, Tuesday 20th March 2018.
