Trainee Administrative Assistant 

(36hours/week, term time only + 10 days)

Salary: Scale Point 10 – 13, £15,613 to £16,497 pro rata 

+ London Weighting, £1,851/annum pro rata

The ideal candidate should:

· Be trained to undertake reception duties including response to telephone call handling and assist with any enquiries received from parents or visitors by phone, in writing or in person. Welcome and direct visitors in line with the school safeguarding procedures

· Be trained to undertake a full range of typing or word processing, including comprehensive tabulation to specification and use of desktop publishing as appropriate to produce complex and sophisticated layouts

· Be trained to undertake whole school reprographics duties

· Assist with administrative maintenance of the school library

· Produce spreadsheets and database information

· Compose own correspondence on standard issues

· When necessary take accurate minutes at meetings
