To start as soon as possible.

This is an exciting time to join Castle Phoenix Trust, to feel valued as we progress on our journey of continued success and growth. We are seeking to appoint an experienced HR professional to provide comprehensive support as part of the Central Services team. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your HR skills whilst making a real difference to staff and young people.

You will play a key HR role to the portfolio of schools in our Trust, in which we employ 650 staff. The role entails providing a full range of employee relations advice, undertaking case and project work and contributing to the development of HR policies and procedures.

This is a wonderful opportunity to gain some really valuable experience in a forward-thinking environment and to put your strong HR skills to the test, working closely with a range of stakeholders in a very professional and friendly environment. Experience in the education sector would be desirable, as would using electronic management information and HR systems.

We will be looking for excellent communication, IT and organisational skills, a discrete, flexible and professional attitude, the ability to prioritise and make sound decisions.  You will be committed to the Trust’s working values including Respect To All From All as well as the Trust’s people strategy to Attract and Recruit the Best Staff and to Retain and Reward Staff through Recognising their Contribution. You will be able to quickly establish credibility, partnership and collaboration with a range of stakeholders. Once you have advised leaders on the options available to them, you will support them with their chosen decision. Some flexibility in working hours may be required to support evening meetings, specific project work, with prior notice. Travel will be required so the successful candidate would need to provide their own transport for business use.

This fulfilling role will provide a wealth of developmental opportunities and we will ensure you receive a comprehensive induction programme and our commitment to your own CPD. We offer a range of benefits which include the local government pension scheme, cycle to work scheme, access to the on-site gym and swimming pool, free parking, an employee discount scheme and investment in staff wellbeing and recognition initiatives through our wellbeing committee and people strategy.

Castle Phoenix Trust has a great deal to be proud of, with super facilities and a desire to continuously improve. If you have the passion and determination to be a valued part of our team, we would love to hear from you.
