Arden College is a specialist college supporting young adults aged 16 -25 with autism.  The college meets the needs of learners with a wide range of abilities and interests and each student has an individual learning plan bespoke to their needs and aspirations for the future.

Many students display challenging behaviours due to their inability to understand and regulate their emotions or communicate their needs and we include proactive strategies and therapeutic intervention to support students' understanding in these areas.

We work with students to develop all aspects of the Preparing for Adulthood Agenda with a sharp focus on the intended destinations of students. This may include further education and training, employment or greater independence for the future.

Arden is a great place to work.  The staff team, consisting of learning managers, tutors, classroom assistants and therapists are passionate about the work they do and strive for better outcomes for the students they support.  This is an exciting time to be at Arden College with the development of an innovative new curriculum.  We have also recently opened a new campus in Banks which adds to our existing campus in Southport, our Horticulture and DofE centre in Birkdale and café and hair and beauty salon in Southport.  We also work alongside local business owners and employer settings to support students in work based education.
