Versatile Teacher KS3 Art, Design & English

Required for January, 2018. This is an unusual opportunity for an   talented and versatile teacher to deliver a range of subjects at , mostly in KS3 initially until the end of June 2018.

As a small school many of our staff teach more than one subject. This post will be filled by an enthusiastic, energetic and creative teacher who is capable of art, design technology and   English across the school.  This would initially be a fixed term contract until June 22nd but there is the strong possibility that a new 2 year contract would be available beginning in August for the right person.

The person we are looking for will be flexible, creative and determined to do their best for our students.  RBIS teachers are expected to use high impact teaching methods to make learning fun and lessons engaging. Innovative teaching practice is encouraged and the successful candidate with be expert at managing mixed ability classes and providing an active, stimulating and purposeful classroom environment where independent learning can thrive. A thorough understanding of assessment and progress tracking is expected with a focus on using data to improve performance.

The Secondary team is hardworking and dedicated so applicants should expect, if appointed, that they will be proactive in maintaining high standards in school. They will be prepared to support their colleagues by contributing to the development of the school as well as playing an active role in extracurricular activities and enrichment.

Thailand is a beautiful country and Bangkok is a vibrant city, so applicants should be prepared to work very hard, sometimes long hours during term time but the holidays will be great!

RBIS is a fully accredited (by EDT) British curriculum school, located in the heart of Bangkok. We offer quality education to children aged between 18 months and 18 years and are a small but growing school which places importance on the success and achievement of each and every one of our students.
