Trinity Academy Sowerby Bridge will be a new academy within the Trinity Multi-Academy Trust, transferring to the trust in June 2018. The flagship academy, Trinity Academy Halifax is a model of excellence for the growing number of academies and free schools joining the trust. The team behind the success at Trinity are working to help those joining our trust to replicate their successes in improving the outcomes for children and young people.
Trinity Academy Sowerby Bridge has a new leadership team in place, lead by an Executive Principal working across the trust and Acting Principal in the school full time. Through robust, clear systems and support; we can ensure that teachers can focus on developing their teaching. Our mantra of ‘Culture & Consistency = Excellence’ is something that we are proud of and all staff support us to maintain this philosophy.
Aspirations and ambitions are high, and the trust’s outstanding leadership team will embed targeted and effective support, which is based on world class, proven systems. The vision is to transform education at Sowerby Bridge, with the intention of providing an outstanding education to students. With the support from Trinity Academy this is a realistic and achievable goal, which has been shown through the results and outcomes of the flagship academy.
The potential is huge and the fantastic opportunities this presents require the expertise and commitment of dedicated staff and key to our continuing success is the quality of teaching. As a trust we invest in the professional development of staff and are able to offer comprehensive, regular CPD opportunities for all staff. This includes cross-trust working.
We are looking to recruit a Vice Principal to join the Senior Leadership Team, to provide strategic leadership and raise standards of student attainment and achievement across the academy. The successful candidate will have exceptional leadership and management skills, be an outstanding teacher and have evidence of successfully leading change. You will motivate and inspire staff and students alongside parents and carers in the wider community.
Start date: September 2018, or sooner
