Closing Date: 6th September 2019
Start Date: August 2020
An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for a well-qualified and inspirational Vice-Principal to oversee and lead all aspects of our enrichment programmes.
Founded in partnership between NLCS (UK) and Sobha, North London Collegiate School [Singapore] will open its doors in August 2020. We are excited to be bringing the ambitious and inspirational NLCS ethos to the dynamic and exciting location of Singapore.
The School will provide the same impressive range of extra-curricular activities for which North London Collegiate School (UK), NLCS Jeju and NLCS Dubai, are well known, to foster the holistic development of well-rounded individuals.
The school will be purpose built, boasting impressive, state-of-the-art facilities; construction is already underway and on target for completion in February 2020.
The commitment that learning is not confined to classrooms, and our belief in the importance of character development in an outstanding holistic education, are fundamental elements of our guiding philosophy. The Vice-Principal (Enrichment) will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of this provision are outstanding across the whole school and the remit will cover sports, the performing arts, academic societies, clubs, the CCA Programme, the House Competition, service, trips and visits, academic visitors (etc etc).
We’re looking for an inspiring educational leader, with a proven track record of engaging with and motivating colleagues, who can demonstrate a genuine passion for the responsibility area.
We believe that NLCS [Singapore] represents a unique opportunity for teachers. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including accommodation allowance, annual flights, health insurance, and free places at the school for up to two dependent children. We also provide first-class professional development through the established NLCS educational community and a variety of external providers. An annual HSBC report has named Singapore as the best location in the world for expatriates to live and work, for four consecutive years.
Whilst we enjoy excellent facilities in a prime location, it is our people that will make our School such an inspirational place. If you are interested in joining our team please submit a completed application form, an up to date CV, and a covering letter of application that focuses on your personal educational philosophy. Applications should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org .
The deadline for applications is 6th September 2019. However, please note that an appointment may be made prior to the closing date if an exceptional candidate is found.
NLCS [Singapore] is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to satisfactory enhanced background checks.
