We are seeking to appoint an outstanding senior leader who has a proven track record of raising outcomes for children and who will vigorously embed ambition and drive improvement to ensure the school’s success. You will have the opportunity to be fully involved in all aspects of the leadership and management of our forward thinking, rapidly improving school and to make a real difference to the lives of all of our children and community.  

The GORSE Academies Trust has an increasingly well-known reputation for changing the deal for children and young adults who come from some of the most impoverished parts of the country. Our central mission is to ensure that our children receive an outstanding education that focuses on aspiration, high expectations and personalisation.  

Hillcrest Academy was the first school to join The GORSE Academies Trust in January 2014 as an inadequate school; it was judged to be outstanding in all areas in September 2016.  Ofsted recognised that: ‘the impact of The GORSE Academies Trust in transforming a long-standing legacy of underachievement had been remarkable.’  

Richmond Hill Academy joined The GORSE Academies Trust in November 2017 and we are confident that it will also be judged to be an outstanding school in three years! We are now looking for a Vice Principal to join us on the journey!  

We are looking for: 

• A leader with a proven track record of school improvement; improving teaching and raising standards 
• A creative and outstanding practitioner who leads by example and can inspire and motivate others 
• A self-motivated and hardworking leader who has high expectations of all 
• A leader who has extensive knowledge and experience of using data, tracking, monitoring and self-evaluation to promote improvement
