About Open Academy
We believe that caring for the ‘whole person’ is vital to help our students be happy and make good progress whilst they are at school. We believe the school should be:
- A community where all members are valued and supported equally;
- A place where mutual respect for each other is evident in everything we do;
- One where everybody works hard to achieve the best that they can;
- A place where we celebrate success at every level;
- A community that works in partnership with parents. The school has changed considerably over the past few years and we aim to continue listening to our students and reflecting their aspirations in our work.
