Westminster Academy is seeking to appoint a Vice Principal, Teaching and Learning to lead on all aspects of teaching and learning, quality assurance, self-evaluation, and faculty professional development. Providing strategic leadership of the curriculum teams, the Vice Principal will build on strong foundations to realise a vision for inspirational and creative teaching and learning at the Academy.
Westminster Academy is an outstanding International Business and Enterprise Academy serving a multi-ethnic community in Central London. Its ethos is grounded in the IB Learner Profile, encouraging intellectual curiosity, entrepreneurial spirit and fostering a real sense of communal endeavour. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding teacher and leader of teaching and learning, with a detailed knowledge of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme or other related inquiry-led programmes. A genuine alignment with the philosophy of the Academy and a passion for educational access for all regardless of socio-economic background are essential, as is a passion for working in a truly diverse community.
