Visiting Music Teacher - Oboe

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly experienced oboe teacher to join our thriving Music Department on a self-employed basis. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high quality teaching to pupils from Year 3 to Year 13 on the Prep School and Senior School sites. Although there will only be a few pupils to teach initially, we are looking for someone with the drive and passion to grow our oboe pupil numbers substantially, in order to cater for our many orchestras, concert bands and chamber groups. The successful candidate will have the full support of the Senior and Prep Schools’ Director of Music, to achieve this and there are plans for a double reed scheme to run at the Prep School from 2022.

In order to be successful in this role, you must have an excellent track-record of teaching and be a team-player, working within a busy and ambitious department. 

This position is offered on a self-employed, sessional basis at a standard hourly rate of £43 per hour.
