We are always looking for exceptional instrumental teachers to join us. As Visiting Teacher of Piano, you’ll teach boys and girls of all ages and abilities and help them develop a lifelong love of playing the instrument. Preparing them for examinations, concerts and masterclasses will be a key aspect of the role too, as will working within a strong team of piano teachers, each of whom are committed to delivering dynamic and effective lessons.

Initially, there will be at least one day a week of lessons, with the possibility of more teaching as the year progresses. To succeed, you’ll need to be a proven classical pianist who is used to teaching to Advanced Level. As well as a Diploma in Piano and/or degree at University or Conservatoire level, you have good knowledge of a varied and interesting repertoire and are familiar with Exam Syllabuses for Classical Piano. You’re also mindful of observing safeguarding and professional standards.

If you satisfy the above criteria and are reliable, adaptable, energetic and discreet, have a sharp and progressive vision of the subject area and a real desire to teach, and learn, in a successful school, apply today.
