Job overview

We are looking for a key member to join our dedicated Electrical curriculum delivery team, involved in teaching and assessment of the New IET wiring regulations, 18th edition BS7671:2018 in our fully equipped electrical workshops and in class. You will be required to work two evenings and a Saturday.

You will ideally have a proven track record of industrial experience with sound knowledge of domestic and industrial electrical installation. To be successful in this post you will hold appropriate industrial qualifications. A subject specialism or specific experience in an area of electrical installation will be advantageous. These include, but are not limited to:

• additions to the scope of BS 7671

• changes to the disconnection times for certain circuits

• further requirements for circuit protection in domestic dwellings

• considerations for Arc Fault Detection in many installations

• supporting of wiring systems

• inspection and testing procedures
