Queensmead is an ‘outstanding’, oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive school based in South Ruislip.
We are looking to recruit a Volunteer Counsellor / Psychotherapist for an exciting opportunity to work with a caseload of up to five clients per week. The post holder must be in their last year of training on a BACP/UKCP accredited course.
The School Counsellor / Psychotherapist will facilitate counselling to pupils at Queensmead School for 11 – 18 years old.
The post holder will be required to work with individuals and to assist in developing mental and emotional wellbeing across the whole school.
There is a six month commitment to the post. Clinical supervision and CPD opportunities are provided as part of the volunteer provision. (These will be payable by Queensmead if the post holder does not complete the minimum six month requirement).
