Kingswood School currently has a vacancy for a House Assistant in our Co-educational Westwood Boarding and Day House, which accommodates students from Years 5 to 8. Kingswood School is situated on a magnificent 200-acre site in Bath, and prides itself on its friendly inclusive community where all individuals are valued.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our pastoral care team in assisting in the smooth running of the Westwood House during the school day. The successful candidate will oversee the domestic arrangements for the House and assist in the supervision of students; ensuring a supportive, warm and positive atmosphere, whilst maintaining the right balance of routine and structure. The ability to build excellent relationships with young people is a must as is a flexible, pro-active approach. The role will include working with the The role will include working with the Head of Lower School, though the Westwood House Assistant will also work, as necessary, with the Cleaning Manager and Head Housekeeper.
The hours of work are 40.5 hours per week, 9.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, and 11.00am to 6.00pm Wednesday, 36 weeks per year (term-time plus 2 weeks).
