About Us

Wembley High Technology College is one of the highest performing schools in the country. Nationally, the achievement of our pupils is exceptional; in 2023 our Progress 8 score was + 1.41 - one of the highest in the country. This progress from Key Stage 2 to GCSE has a transformative impact on our pupils’ life chances and last year, over half of students went to a UK Top 40 university including Oxbridge and top courses such as Medicine. In September 2020, Wembley High welcomed pupils from North Brent School in Year 7 while their new £27 million building is completed. The addition of a new school in our Multi-Academy Trust provides exciting development and leadership opportunities for staff in the years to come.

The Music Department

We are looking for a teacher and leader who can make a significant contribution to this strong and successful department. The ideal candidate will have a proven record designing, implemented and evaluating the effectiveness of an ambitious and enriching Music curriculum as well as developing the teaching of others. At GCSE, all students receive fully funded peripatetic lessons in their chosen instrument which contributes to the high success rates in the department. The department also has a fully equipped Mac Suite so that students can explore industry standard software when it comes to composing music. Students at Wembley High Technology College really enjoy their music lessons and we are seeking a strong leader who can take the department to the next level. Enrichment and personal development is always on our agenda, therefore the ideal candidate will be passionate about providing a range of exciting opportunities for students beyond the curriculum.
