Work Placement Co-ordinator

Full Time – 37 hours per week
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Work Placement Coordinator to join our Services to Students/Marketing & Admissions Department to support our students achieve success. The successful candidate will coordinate and develop the current system of work placements for our full time learners. You should possess an A-Level or equivalent qualification.
The successful candidate should have experience of working in an education or recruitment setting together with experience providing advice & guidance to young people and adults. Knowledge of safeguarding issues in education is also an essential requirement.
The successful candidate will possess knowledge of current developments in the local labour market, with the ability to develop strong external relationships with employers to secure suitable work placements for our learners and ensure all parties are supported whilst on placement.
In addition the successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and have experience liaising with employers and supporting learners. The successful candidate will also have a level 2 qualification in Maths and English (GCSE A*-C, or equivalent) or a willingness to attain these qualifications with the support of the College.
