The Prospect Trust is a leading Multi-Academy Trust in the South of England, with an aim of providing outstanding education for all learners within a family of local academies. There are currently three academies within the Trust: The Sixth Form College Farnborough, Tomlinscote School and Frimley Church of England Junior School.

The Trust has already created a number of centralised functions to support the delivery of outstanding education, including HR, Finance & payroll, Estates & facilities and Careers guidance. This is an exciting time for a Work Experience Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Careers team to ensure effective work experience across The Prospect Trust academies. They will help to develop and build links with businesses across the area in order to offer relevant, high quality placements for the students.

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and flexible individual with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills, to provide an outstanding service to students from (TPT) academies and to other schools outside of the trust who we provide a work experience service too.

The successful applicant will work with the highly skilled work experience team delivering, promoting and expanding our quality service.

The main focus of this role is to:

  • Be a first point of contact and provide a professional, customer focused service to client coordinators, parents and students.
  • Network with and optimise links with local employers.
  • Endeavour to resolve enquiries at the first point of contact and escalate enquiries where necessary.
  • Deliver or assist with student briefings, clinics and parent evenings.
  • Assist with and attend the yearly debrief with the school and college coordinators.
  • Conduct health and safety pre-placement visits when needed
  • Maintain the work experience platform/database and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared, distributed and returned in accordance with the work experience process, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
  • Produce accurate and timely invoices and record payments as required
  • Attend training where necessary. Health and Safety qualification to be refreshed every two years.
  • Complying with Trust policies (including those of the constituent academies) and procedures as appropriate including those relating to child protection, safeguarding, pastoral issues, health and safety, security, confidentiality and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements with concerns reported as per the relevant policy.


Interviews: To be confirmed 

Contract/Hours: Permanent, 37 hours per week.

Working Pattern: Term-time only, Monday-Friday with flexible working considered.
