About British International School of Chicago, Lincoln Park

The British School of Chicago follows the British system of education and has an individualised approach and programme. Although we have a general expectation of what a child will achieve in a year, each child works to achieve his or her maximum potential. Foundation - covers the area of Nursery and Reception (Pre-school and Junior)
Key Stage 1 - covers Years 1 & 2 (Kindergarten and Grade 1)
Key Stage 2 - covers Years 3 - 6 (Grades 2 - 5)
Key Stage 3 - covers Years 7 - 9 (Grades 6 - 8)
Key Stage 4 - covers Years 10 - 11 (Grades 9 and 10)
