ABC Teachers are looking to recruit an experienced Year 1 SEN TA to work in a ‘requires improvement’ school in Sandwell. This role is full-time and is due to start ASAP until the end of the academic year to support a child with MLD. This position could potentially carry on through to the next academic year depending on the progress shown from the pupil. At this Primary school, they aim to provide their children with a safe, secure and stimulating environment which meets the individual needs of all children on an equal opportunities basis, regardless of gender, ability, disability, religious or cultural belief, or racial background. The development of mutual respect and quality relationships is at the heart of all that they do.
The role in question is a full-time position working Monday- Friday. You will be working with a particular pupil that has MLD. You will need to be an outstanding practitioner that can work 1.1 to achieve the best standards within the classroom. This child is slow to pick up new concepts, their math’s is weak, and the difficulties occur across all areas of the curriculum.
Expectations for the role:-
· Qualified to level 3
· KS1 Specialist
· Over 2 Years’ experience working 1.1 with SEN ( MLD)
· Willing to commit to the entirety of the role
· Flexible and adaptable
· Hard working
